The Brick er designet  slik at det kun holder seg selv flytende og ikke noe mer. Når du legger armene på brettet må hele kroppen jobbe for å holde brettet (og deg) flytende. Dette betyr at det blir umulig å hvile seg når man kicker.

Brettet er mye mer enn et kickboard. The Brick forbedrer kroppens posisjon i vannet og forandrer bevegelsene dine slik at du må bruke mere krefter og tvinger deg til å bruke kjernemuskulaturen som er essensielt for å svømme fort. We designed The Brick so that it can only support itself, and not a pound more. So when you lay your arms on it, your whole body has to work to keep the board (and you) up. This means no more slacking off on kick sets!

But it´s so much more than just kick resistance. The Brick improves your body position and changes your movements into something more efficient and more powerful by forcing you to use your core muscles, the ones essential for fast swimming. It makes you work harder and smarter. The Brick isn’t about better kicking, it’s about faster swimming.

The Brick does what no other kickboard can:

• Strengthens core muscles and improves body position so you swim on top of the water, not through it

• Easily submerges to stabilize your upper body during underwater dolphin kick

• Increases the power of your breaststroke kick and reduces wasted energy by allowing you to kick straight back.

• Can be used as extra weight either overhead or against your chest in vertical kick sets and in dry-land training
